Six string bass

Bass usually is associated to be a rhythm section player, playing 1 note at a time, played in the band setup. 

 

While this association is true in a band setup, I'm trying to bring up bass as an orchestral instrument, same level as guitar & piano. Bass by itself's capable to play the melody, chord, & off course the bass line simultaneosly - even with out "loop" effect.



Anchor bass (see Anchor bass in "Guitars" page) is a 6 string bass which is designed comfortably to do the job.
