I realized that I've been playing the bass line on my guitar whenever I'm doing rhythm section on a guitar. So I thought might as well I play real bass as it's still related to guitar. 

 

Same concept with guitar playing, I play bass in the band, also sometimes I play band in the bass (simulating all the band components such as chord, melody and bass line in a bass).
